In the lounge we now have a small display with information of Paz Holandesa and Rosita. There are some pictures and a explanation of the two operations she underwent.

Last visit
Rosita visited on April 16th the doctor at Paz Holandesa. She now weighs 8,5 kilos. Not perfect but definately better then before. Her lip is fine. But now she has been diagnosed with a food allergy. Over her whole body she has small pimples filled with water, that leave dark brown marks after bursting. She also has a lot of problems with gas. For both problems I have bought medication. Hopefully this will work.

Ailie is leaving
Today Ailie is going home. She has stayed 3 months to help me out with giving information to tourists. She will be missed by all. Together we started the baking project. And she beat me with playing Uno all the time. That part I will not miss. Hopefully she can come back quickly for a holiday.
Rosita 1 year old
Rosita visited on the 14th of January. She looks good but her weight is not great and she is too small for her age. Cristina does not have time to prepare the food like she should. Also the lack of a fridge makes it too difficult to buy beef. Therefore we will sent her more milk per month so Rosita will get her nourishment this way. Also to expensive to buy in Juliaca, impossible to buy in Putina. We will send by bus (not expensive) the formula milk from Arequipa to Juliaca. This way we will save money and can send more milk. Another good thing is that the milk for 1 year olds is cheaper.
She will come back in the middle of April. If weight is not omproving she will have to wait 2 years before they are willing to do another operation.
